Eli began his New York real estate career in 2006 after long-time friend, Jonathan Bakhash, convinced him to move Maryland and join him at his fledgling company, Living Real Estate Group.
Since then, Living has grown tremendously, Eli started Redwood, and has helped over 300 companies find new offices in Manhattan.
Eli believes the first step to helping someone is to put yourself in his or her shoes and being an owner of a small business helps him do that. Eli takes pride in introducing tenants to spaces that will enable them to grow their businesses and landlords that take care of their buildings. His customers appreciate his extensive knowledge and blue-collar work ethic and can always rely on him to be honest, straightforward, and reachable at almost any time.
Eli and Jay D Fuller, President of M. Rapaport Co., Inc. served as the co-exclusive brokers for 13 West 36th Street and 150 West 22nd Street building repositionings.
At 13 West 36th Street, from 2010 to 2011, they leased 6 out of 8 floors in the building- all for record high rents. Floors were frequently leased even prior to hitting the market.
At 150 West 22nd Street, from 2012 to 2015, they leased 8 out of the 12 floors in the building including an exciting new retail tenant, also achieving record high rents and securing high profile tenants such as: Crane & Co., Millennial Media, Decision Resources Group, and NRML.
Eli owns real estate and is trusted with representing the landlords of six buildings in Manhattan. Eli is a graduate of the University of Maryland and lives in Brooklyn. He enjoys hiking, playing guitar, independent movies, concerts, World War II history, going to Prospect Park with his dog, doing his shifts at the park slope food coop, bicycling, rock climbing, travelling, and hazy IPAs.
In 2013, Eli was recognized as one of the Commercial Observer’s “30 under 30”.
